Brevard County, FL Real Estate: Home Prices are Up!

The latest data released by CoreLogic Home Price Index shows that home prices nationwide increased by 9.7 percent in January 2013 from one year prior, and are on track for similar increases in February. This gain marks the largest increase in home prices in nearly 7 years, and is also the 11th consecutive monthly increase for home prices. According to Mark Fleming, CoreLogic economist, home prices showed “strong growth during the typically slower winter season. With these gains, the housing market is poised to enter the spring selling season on sound footing.”
